At the Faculty of Engineering and Science, Department of Materials and Production at Aalborg University, Aalborg Campus, a part-time external lecture position in Management Accounting and Performance Measurement is available starting February 1st. 2026.
Your work tasks
The position is as part-time external lecturer. Teaching will primarily be in Management Accounting and Performance Measurement at the bachelor program Global Business Engineering and/or MSc. program Management Engineering. This includes knowledge on, e.g., various perspectives and theories that inform the financial evaluation of contemporary enterprise functions; principles of activity based costing and various budgeting methods as well as investment methods.
Your Competencies
Applicants must have a Master's level degree in Management Accounting or similar, and further high-level qualifications, e.g., teaching experience at the university level, expertise or practical experience from industry. Teaching qualifications will be included in the assessment.
Qualification requirements
Appointment as a part-time lecturer requires academic qualifications at master’s degree level.
Employment as a part-time lecturer requires either relevant practical experience at a high level which has not been achieved through an academic appointment at a university or employment in an principal academic position at another university. When employed due to relevant practical experience, you must have in-depth, up-to-date knowledge of the subject/subject's applications that has been gained or will be gained through employment in the profession. Teaching qualifications are included in the assessment of applicants for a part-time lectureship.
